We frequently receive requests from customers who are interested in finding people to assemble some of the kits they purchase, or are seeking finished tack and other model paraphernalia. As a service to these customers, we have established a referral list of Tackmakers and Artisans who are able to offer these goods and services.
If you make tack for sale to the public or assemble Rio Rondo Saddle Kits for others, and would like to be included on our referral list, please review the conditions and fill out the form at the bottom of this page.
Conditions:
One or more photos of your work must be submitted prior to adding your name to the list. The photos can be submitted via Email in .jpg or .gif format.
The referral listing will include links to your current email address, and web page (recommended).
Inclusion on the referral list by no means implies that you are required to take on any work that may result from it. You do not owe Rio Rondo any proceeds, fees or other reimbursements. All transactions entered as a result of a referral are between the tackmaker/artisan and customer regarding pricing, shipping dates, quality, specifications, production schedules, payment, policies and so forth.
If you are under the age of 18, we will need a signed statement from a parent or legal guardian that they are aware of the activity and it meets with their approval. We will not add a referral to a minor on the page without parental knowledge and written consent.
This referral list is provided only as a vehicle for contacts between Tackmakers and Prospective Customers. Rio Rondo's interests are limited to including Tackmakers/Artisans on the list who are known to be of good reputation and standing within hobby circles, and which we feel can provide an acceptable level of quality work.
NOTE: If for some reason a listed Tackmaker's integrity should come into serious question, Rio Rondo reserves all rights to remove that person's name and information from the referral list. Since this list does come from Rio Rondo, it essentially means that Rio Rondo is responsible for the referrals themselves.
This referral list is currently open to all Artisans/Tackmakers who create equine or model horse-related miniature tack, costumes, obstacles, props and accessory items, at our discretion.
In order to keep the list manageable and reasonably up to date, it will now contain only your email contact info, website (if any), and the chart info regarding what sort of work you do. A small space (200 characters) will be provided for comment or description, but secondary pages with more information will no longer be created.
