Western Show Halter Plate Sets

These new Show Halter sets feature all the deco parts you need to create a beautiful Western-style Show Halter with all the bling.

Buckle Styles and number of parts will vary depending on the theme

There are 10 decorative themes in Traditional (1:9) scale to choose from, and 2 Classic (1:12) scale.

• For a Traditional halter, you'll need Leather Lace in 1/8", 3/32", and 1/16".
• For a Classic halter you'll need Leather Lace in 3/32" and 1/16" widths.
• A quality Super-Glue gel (or 3-minute epoxy) should be used to attach the decorative items.
• You'll need a bit of chain, and one or two JR3s or JR4s jump rings for the lead shank.

 Western Show Halter Set Notes

• Crown Buckles are 1/8"
• Chin Buckles are 3/32"
• Connector buckle (under the jaw) is 1/16"
• Classic scale buckles are 3/32 and 1/16" respectively.
• Leather keepers are customary for Chin and Connector straps
• Optional Dee ring to use for the lead strap.
• The "Kingsdown" motif has longer nose and cheek plates than the other styles
• The top "frame" of the sheet can be used to craft Metal Keepers, as shown in this Tutorial.
